    Hey all,

I was scrolling through social media when I came across ARB's post on Instagram showing their new Summit MKII bumper on their SEMA Tacoma build. Curious if anybody went to SEMA and has seen the thing and had any input.

I was definitely turned away from the first bumper ARB made for the 3rd Gens, the side profile made it look way too extended on I personally wasn't a fan of the fat front lip. While they're big, I know firsthand how functional those ARB bumpers can be, I've got one on my 80 Series land cruiser, and has saved my bacon from stupid drivers (plus is looks badass). The front profile looks great though, I'm just hoping that they reduced the 'fat lip' effect since it looked a little ugly on the last bumper.

Just looking for information here, figured there had to be one or two people on here that visited SEMA.

Bummer, it looks good from the photos but I feel like you'd need 35s to make this bumper not look too big.

    Thanks for the photos!

looking at it i think it has less depth. the center uprights were a inch or two behind the leading edge of the winch cradle on the mk1 but not the uprights seem to lead.

I would love to see this from the side as well, it definitely looks bulkier from the front but I'm hoping that it's doesn't stock out as much as the first gen did from the side.

It also looks like they dropped the retention of OEM fog lights, are the rectangular lights on the edges capable of using the OEM fog power/switch?

Are there a mk2 rear bumper and runners as well?

looks like the bumper caps are gone making it shorter but the otherwise the same general shape, the fogs in the mk2 tie in with the oem switch

IMO this ARB is the gold standard and I like the look. Certainly comes with the price tag though.

Why do I have the most expensive taste in truck parts. I gotta get the MKII.

MK II installed on my stock 2019 TRD Sport two weeks ago. I really like the bumper but it’s kinda heavy. Will be installing Bilstein 6112s and 650# springs as soon as they arrive.

maybe I'm crazy but I kinda prefer the mk1 mainly because of the fog lights, and the ability to retrofit led rounds in their place. i feel there would never be a alternative fog light for the mk2, unless it is shared with other arb bars. if anyone plans to upgrade from mk1 to mk2 ill buy your used mk1.

it looks 1-2" shorter ontop of that, which gives it a bit sleeker look that I like, although it definitely comes with a price tag... Shame that the ARB rear bumper is FUGLY.

i feel like the brute force fab high clearance with side tubes matches the arb summit the beast especially if you get the arb side rails.
