Odd. The below was taken from an ARB newsletter that appeared in my mail a few minutes ago:
"The all new ARB Summit Bar accommodates the 2014-2021 Toyota 4Runner's Adaptive Cruise Control system and original equipment (OE) fog lights. These two Toyota Safety Sense features are preserved by relocating the Adaptive Cruise Control sensors within the split pan of the Summit bar, and an ARB-developed fog light surround."

What do they make that even competes with the ARB? The ARB has full hoops around the headlights and retains the airbag sensors.

I'm in the same boat, loved my ARB on my 02 dcsb, and looking at them again for the new truck, 21 dcsb, AG 6mt. But I'm also open to other options.

    Lots--
No airbag sensors affected by an aftermarket bumper up front. That’s inside the truck. The rear has the sensors for bSM. If the bars block the Toyota symbol up front then your front brake warning sensor thing is affected.

On the C4 Overland only the mid hoop bumper interfered with the radar in the grille.

I definitely love mine, but stay on top of the finish. I’ve been hosing it down with fluid film and then rubbing it in/wiping it off it off a couple times a year.

Trying to avoid the junker look my first gen developed in short order:

This is from years of neglect after the first few futile attempts to do spot repairs. It happens quicker than it should or you image it could. The finish on these (both 1st and 3rd gen models) is garbage imo

I use fluid film on the metal just because I have it from doing my undercarriage and can source it locally. I use 303 protectant on the plastic and rubber bits. I saw the tiny telltale rust blooms within months of installation during a dry summer and was really really pissed.
After wiping fluid film on it, the spots disappeared and it left a protective (hopefully) layer.
I was really surprised at how much product the bumper soaked up. It’s a thirsty bitch for sure. The rough texture of the finish will chew up whatever you’re applying with and leave lint if you aren’t careful.
I coated it twice last year but if you wash your truck a lot or live in a super wet climate I imagine you’ll have to re-apply more frequently.
Right now I’m in a frustrating situation where it’s mid winter, I have no garage, it’s too cold to wash then apply fluid film but my bumper and sliders are showing rust spots.
    Que sera, sera I guess… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh, haha, it's literally "fluid film". Being in mild weathered California, I never heard of this stuff. Seems like a smart move, even in this climate. Thank you!

Probably a good idea to apply at least twice a year. https://www.fluid-film.com/

If you go this route get some extra and blast your frame, avoiding wires and rubber. Certainly won’t hurt anything! Lowe’s and home depot both carry it up here, though not in the fabled 5 gallon bucket size I’ve read about on this forum.
Good luck! I hope your bumper serves you for many many rust free years!
