Luckily the front camera can be moved, I currently have a TRD4x4OffRoad (Pro doesnt have DubCabLongBed) and I haven't bought my Pro Grille yet, so I will likely get the plain tss plate (without camera section) and slap the camera somewhere else higher on the grille. I'll likely be getting the Smittybilt X20 Comp 10k, same thing I had on my last Taco, looks like almost every winch has the option to move the control box to the side like Scott has his shown in his picture. I'm just really relieved to hear that the ARB bumper doesn't affect the tss, and I'm assuming it won't require a recalibration?

The reason i didnt mount my control box behind the winch was simply access. It would have been easier that way but when you need to plug in the cable to the box to winch you have to reach underneath and squeeze your hand in places mine didnt fit so well. I wanted to still be able to use the closing door honeycomb dealio when i need to pull

Sub a dub dub because this is the only bumper for the 3rd Gen that (I think) looks good and I want to see if anything new or unexpected pops up down the road.

Also, if you'll excuse the related but tangential thread jack, if you want to throw up some pictures of them bumpers so I can stare at em, that'd be just swell. Curious to know thoughts on side profiles which really show just how far it sticks out.

I will say I have to disagree with the look. Now that I have seem a few of the ARB bumpers in person, and have noticed they seem to turn rust brown colour/color fairly quickly, I am really glad I went C4 no cut bumper. I bedlined the bumper. The ARB power coating does not look very durable. The C4 works with the TSS no problem.EE4CE983-C533-4D30-A907-B5AB33F1D2A6.jpg D22E96BF-E198-487B-80CE-22C78E192497.jpg

My garage just fits the truck with the OEM bumper. With the C4 bumper it did not add any length at all. It might actually be a shorter truck.

side note I did hear a rumour that I might have gotten the last no cut C4 bumper. They maybe discontinuing this model.

here is why I got my bumper in the first place.

Here’s some help, tandem offroad makes a control box mount for the 3rd gen tacomas. I have a hidden winch mounted, but swapping over to the arb here come summer, but this works great with it. If you need extended cables they are real simple to makes, but my factory cables from smittybilt reached this locations on my cbi bumper easy.
