I’m currently installing my arb twin compressor in my third gen.

There is a blue/white wire which is supposed to be to illuminate the switch and a red/yellow wire which is supposed to go to the ignition. I attached add a fuse to both, so where do I put them and what amperage do I use in each?

I’ve tried searching but I’m so confused. Thanks.

Same issue! And no good answers. Mine has been waiting for me to finish wiring it for like 3 months.

    Arbs directions suck ass.

hah, well it seems the instructions are for people who are more electrically inclined/experienced. But yeah I’m determined to finish wiring mine today. I won’t sleep lol.

I have my switch in poutlet2, which makes the compressor work only when the engine is running (vs able to use in ACC mode). I'll need to go to my truck to see what fuses I used in the add-a-fuse.

So my add-a-fuse is in the 15A poutlet2, with both slots using 15A fuses. For the switch illumination, I tapped the cargo light wires since the switch was nearby.

The red/yellow you want to fuse tap to an ignition on fuse, ie; a fuse that is hot when the truck is turned on if that's how you want to run your compressor. The blue/white can tap to your tail lights to illuminate your switch when you turn your lights on. Use the same fuse rating as the one you're tapping into, both fuses the same amperage.

does that apply to the red wire too? Use both the same amperage? And which one is always hot that I can plug it into? Thanks.
