Nice. I'm use to the open front. Summit makes a couple of those. They had one called the Specialist I think but I guess they just made it for a year. Can't seem to find it now. I think it weighed 15 which is still 3 or 4 pounds lighter than mine

I'm another one that uses my harness from the time I leave the ground till I'm back down on the ground. Takes a few minutes longer but, hey, what's the rush? My climber of choice? I'm sure this will raise a few eyebrows, but I still use my Loggy I bought in '97. Has the "V" groove with the additional spikes that bolt in to the supports. Why do I still use it? Well, it folds flat, maybe 6" deep. With the hand climber it weighs a touch over 14 lbs. And when the over-center buckle is locked down, it's stable as a rock. Took a ride once in 2009. My own fault. It was raining and I was climbing a fairly smooth bark tree. Dropped about 3 feet, safety harness did it's job. Other than that, it's been a great climber and have killed a ton of deer using it. For me, the Summits are heavy and don't fold flat. Lone Wolf are great, but the climbing belt (basically a timing belt) always felt spongy to me. Mostly use hang-on's and ladder stands now.

Well the seasons been open in Utah (and I think some of the other western states) for a a few days now. I have yet to see a picture of something not living in this thread. Disappointed.

I spent the weekend chasing bears instead of hooves animals, but tomorrow that changes.

i wasn't too crazy about the belt on the lone wolf when i first got it, but its never given me any problems and it has more adjustment then the cables in my viper. i also like the fact that it folds flat and it's 4 or 5 pounds lighter. its a great stand when you have a long hike to your spot

Let the younger kids get em and I know there’s bigger in the hay field.

If I’m gonna kill a 2 point it might as well be hay fed anyway
