bone stock save for the block lift that came on it with the open country m/t.
I have a bubble level, I think, in the tool box. Let me take a look. I bought it for my bowsight, but, it didn't fit. If I have it, it's yours. Cool?

Try talking to the company about your bubble. I had a tru-glo bubble leak out after a couple of years and sent them a message via their web site. They put a new bubble in the mail the next day, free of charge.

I think I even had a cobra rest that came without the sleeves for the prongs once. They sent me some for free. Not sure about the brand though, it was a long time ago...

the most accurate (for me) fixed blade head is the slicktrick 100 gr magnum. they go right where my fieldtips go. my bow is set to spec.

but, i love a cut on contact head like the montecs. big bonus of the montecs? they are easy to sharpen. you simply lay it on a flat honing surface, and rub away. the cutting angles are all worked out for you. do the montecs fly great? yes! but i had to broadhead tune them for my bow. (move rest to and fro, nock point up and down, etc). but once tuned, i can shoot them out to 60 yards with my fieldtips. i tune my bow for montecs, so i can shoot the slicktricks also.

another great head, very similar to the montecs..and a tad cheaper..are the Snuffer SS heads. as a matter of fact, you can youtube "sharpening snuffer SS" and see exactly how i sharpen my montecs. the snuffers are more difficult to find.

about the broadheads. i like the montecs because there is a practice head available. yanking a real broadhead out of a target can get dangerous. having a dull practice head could cut you..a sharp one can land you in the ER.

here is a tip on how i keep them sharp. i touch them up, and store them like this: (cost me a cool $1 for large treble hook protectors)

x2 I once pulled a Muzzy through my left hand. Cut the piss out of my palm the day before season. Still went but i had to hold the bow with just my thumb and my dad gutted my deer. Gotta Love It.....

there are tons of broadheads out there that are good. if you really want to see a good test on tons and i mean tons of broadheads go on AT and go to the bow-hunting section, click on western bow-hunting and start looking at whitey375 tests he called them like penetration test 1, 2, 3, 4 ect.

i was able to go do some testing with him and it was a lot of fun.

his tests use beef shoulder blades (2 of them) and 13" of ballistics gel.

he shoots the same arrows and same bow for all comparisons

you may be surprised with the outcome.

How do you like that bow. Its one my top 2. I cant decide which one i want. The Rock or the Bowtech Assassian. They both felt awesome the other day when i shot them. Tough choice.

if i where you i would shoot both with my eyes closed (close to the target) so you can get a feel for the bow without worrying about aiming. it is amazing what you can feel when you are not trying to aim and just want to feel the bow.

my cousins 17 year old son can outshoot 90% of the grown men i know that shoot. he preaches form. anchor point and the same form every time. he watched me shoot a couple times, told me what i wasnt doing correctly, and i immediately corrected it and my groups closed up at 4" at 40 yards. he can put 4 in a group of less than 2" at 40

Z7 extreme. The sweetest bow I have ever shot. Haven't shot the new hoyt's though. I hear they are worth looking at. I am a bow hunter, and a target shooter. One the mississippi state games target shoot last year LOL.
