    The big stuff is up north but I have my eye on a thick 4 or 6 pointer.
    You find them in places you wouldn't think.
    Most of the time I watch all the other animals doing their thing.
    Had a squirrel have lunch with me one day..
    To bad it wasn't in season.. Lol

    So today was my first day of vacation and had my best hunt so far tonight. Seen 6 or 7 does and 3 bucks. The first buck was a little year and a half. I also had two really nice 3.5 year old 8 pointers come by, had both at 12 to 15 yards.     :thumbsup: Good luck !:cheers: Anything around here with 16” spread is decent . Taken quite a few with the bow so I hold out for at least an 8 point . Had recent eye surgeries and vision is not what it used to be . Think I might try a ground blind next year because I’m climbing down 15-20 minutes before dark due to poor vision and not wanting to fall climbing down . Definetly swapping all lock on stands for ladder stands next year too.

    We started using lifelines on all of our stands last year. We hunt 25 to 28 feet high and with the lifelines your hooked up from the time you leave the ground,very safe.
