My what a difference we have in land available to us. You have tons of land and I hunt in a neighborhood. LOL! Still gets the job done though!

Not that I know of. I shot at him but hit a limb at like 35 yards. Broke my heart. Still think about that shot. I was at full draw with a frontal shot at 30 and didn’t take it. I should have though.

Dang man I know I have asked before but where in VA do you live? Gotta be some public land close by so you don't have to hunt by the Beamers haha.

I can write an excuse note for you.:rofl:Even as warm as it was today, deer movement was pretty good. I hunted my 320 acre lease tonight and seen 10-12 does and at least 3 bucks. Again all of the deer were in the neighbors alfalfa field like the last time. The last buck to appear, looked big from about 400 yards away. I have a stand about 100 yards from where I’m seeing these deer so I guess I’ll be in that stand in the morning.

I worked 2 days and I feel like I should get those days added back to my life to use for hunting. I appreciate the updates. If I can't go, I at least like to hear stories. The next 2 days (which I am off), there is a 100% chance of rain. So, Friday it is. Continued good luck!

Hey, as long as it’s not raining too hard I’d put on the rain gear and head out. I had my rain gear on tonight but the rain held off until I stopped at the landowners house to talk.

We are suppose to get 3 or 4 inches. I'm constantly checking the hourly. May be able to sneak one in Thurs afternoon. I don't mind a few light showers, but when it rains hard enough the woods turn grey, I'm out.

Yep...that’s a lot of rain, even the deer don’t like that much rain.

Good luck! I liked your post because you are hunting, not because it was lousy.

My dumb ass stayed up till 1am because there was 95% chance of rain from 4am on. Woke up at 7ish, no rain. But it started around 10 and ain't gonna quit for awhile. Long story short, I didn't go. For sure skipping work Friday. Please keep the updates rolling in.
