    Got in tree at 6:40 had small buck walk by at 7:05,nothing since. Good luck to all,colder temps on the way, things should start to pick up!!

    If you have never heard a deer walking thru water before daylight, I highly recommend it. One of the finer sounds in nature.

    Here in VA we are having tons more bears on the road dead. They changed our licenses up about 4 years ago and less people are hunting them.

    Just sad for them to die by vehicles. At least they have a chance to stay safer in the woods. The numbers of bears are skyrocketing in our state for sure.

    I believe it. I knew this was going to happen. People don’t see bears consistently enough to pay extra for a separate license. I buy it every year but I also have bears in both places I hunt. I very rarely see them during the season but the opportunity is there.


    It’s only going to get much worse. They are cool animals but more destructive and dangerous to hit than deer for sure.
