Shot Chamberlin Ranch Traditional Rendezvous 3D shoot 2 weeks ago. Great time with the trad bows. One of the best shoots I've been to.

Anybody shoot 3D tournaments? Think I'm gonna go with a few buddies to the Fresno Safari shoot this weekend. Should be a good one as well, 2 day tournament, camping, etc. Def bringing the compound out this time around.

and a pic of the Taco at the last shoot for good measure

Glad I stumbled upon this! Awesome pics joker.

I am brand new to archery. I spent some time looking at used bows and was talked into going new with a PSE Drive with some goodies. It arrived today so I haven't got to shoot it yet :(. Hopefully tomorrow I can get out and give it a whirl.

I'll probably be in here quite a bit looking for advice. I put in for elk and deer this year so I got my fingers crossed on those.

Anyways, back to  and reading through the thread.

What is the best way to go about finding a bowstring to for my mid 90's Xi Legend Magnum? Local bow shop was less than helpful, kept telling me how I wouldn't get any money for a used bow, repeated it no matter how I tried to explain that I want the new string so I can shoot, not sell.

The manufacturer of my bow went out of business. I don't know if replacement is just a matter of finding the same length and strand count or what. Are there places that can duplicate a bowstring given an original?

I was at my cabin in Payson and had a few hours to myself so I went out shooting. Got my 30pin almost sighted in.

Nice! Bob Lees are sweet. One of our club members picked up a Bob Lee Ultimate and I got to try it out. Bad idea as now I'm keeping an eye out for one on stickbow lol.

I just got a 62" PSE recurve bow to practice with. I figured if I can learn to shoot a recurve bow really well it would help with shooting my compound bow.

Got some help with my bow today. The peep sight wasn't lining up right so I have been shooting without it. My groupings were good at 20 yards but each group was all over the place. Hopefully I can actually get the sight set up this time. Cannot wait for some nicer weather!

I was in the same boat and now that it's fixed my grouping is great.

I'm looking at some black gold sights.
