Typically hitting to the right means your arrows are overspined. Couple of things....what's your draw weight, arrow length, type, spine, tip weight.

Samick makes great bows! They used to make a longbow/recurve hybrid called the Verna. Real nice shooter. Kick myself in the butt for not picking one up.

    Lotsa good info here.

I was almost becoming too attached to all my deer that feed on the clover around my house and was going to hunt off my property this season. Then for the last 2 nights they started decimating my the trees in my mini orchard. Think I may have to take a couple from my porch again.
    :annoyed:

By the way I'm right handed..

    Draw weight is 40LBS
Arrows are Victory Mamba and are 79cm (about 31") long (not including tip or nock)
    They're carbon fibre
    6 gram tips

They say "NABA 500 +- 0.006 spine aligned" on them, is that the spine?

At full draw there is still about 4'' of arrow past the bow as seen here..

Which is why I was thinking underspined/too long.

    Thanks for your help!

If you’re to attached to them I’m sure we can find a good shot on here to take them out for you, that way you don’t feel guilty :D

I can only speak from my experience but I will share.

I was shooting low right all the time I would get sighted in, so I thought, then I would go right.

    Very frustrating.
So I took a chance and started my own experiments.

I bought the cheapest arrows I could.

Here is a pic of me hitting the left bag. Ignore the right one I was just storing arrows.
    Low right.

    3594D8F8-D015-485C-BA58-291DE473B402.jpg

The very next two shots were 30 and 20 yards ( left to right). I did not touch anything.
My new arrows are Walmart el cheapo specials.
Went from 400 to 350 spine and roughly an inch and a 1/4 longer.

You can get some insight with all the great people here however your going to have to experiment on your setup.
But if your shooting that much right at 20 feet you need someone to look at your shooting mechanics. And make sure your correct there before you start playing with the arrows..

Im not a traditional bow guy, but Ive looked into making my own just to see if I could do it. But one thing I was reading you might need to check the bow and make sure both limbs arc the same way. Especially since its a takedown bow I believe. Try some different brand arrows. if they are all shooting the same--you have something not right with the bow vs the arrows. bout all I have for my .02cts...on traditional bows.

Spent about 6 hours in the woods today. Weed-rated some trails, trimmed out some shooting lanes and replaced some seat cushions...I want @StayinStock to be comfortable when he comes up to hunt.

Thanks for your thoughts! You're right, I think I just need to stop by the archery place and have them cut down one of the arrows I have by a few inches and see what happens. I'll get on this finally, after the poor experience the bow has just been sitting in my basement.

Well my food plots are coming along pretty nice. Plus we just got another 1.3 inches of rain. Now I need to get some Urea and really get them going.11DA9886-3F01-4489-AD17-3E9C4E46D171.jpgB87C4B18-5E30-4134-936F-14D37D957D6C.jpg F2853408-BC26-46D0-B6D2-F05DFD6E34E8.jpg
