Well dropped the bow off at the shop today. I went in for arrows and to get what I needed to tie on a new dloop. The owner was awesome and walked me through everything and pointed out my bow was in need of a tune up. I got 12 Easton arrows to replace my cheapo goldtip ones I beat to hell during the learning process.

I have a $700 security deposit check coming my way from my old landlord so instead of being responsible I am looking for a pack so I can start training and getting my pack set up right for Sept 1!

    ^ haha.

Pack shopping is the best. Look at EXO packs. Truly a pack designed by hunters.

And I love my gold tips. All I have ever shot. They are so strong.

The gold tips did good haha. They were just the cheapo ones that I got to learn how to shoot so I lost a few in the process. My boss swears by Easton so I wanted to give them a try.

Pack shopping is hard. The cheap packs are appealing but I know my back and knees will regret it, as well as my wallet when I upgrade in a year.

The current companies in the running are Kifaru, Seek Outside, Mystery Ranch (currently winning), and Stone Glacier.

Just got a call from the shop. They have finished with the bow. I am going in tonight to get it set to me better and arrows cut to the correct length. I am excited to know my bow will finally be set up for me personally. Hopefully it shows in my groups :).

I have a Kifaru. Timberline2 on a duplex frame. I kinda regretted it went I opened the box. It is very much like the Gregory I replaced. Just more external straps. I have fucking straps every where. And and dead meat has to go on the inside. Id rather do the meat shelf other companies have adopted.

My day pack is a mystery ranch. It is small but oh do effective. I wish I had more of theirs. Check out EXO. Trust me.

^truth. Kifaru has some very loyal customers...almost as bad as the Tacoma group :p.

I am really debating getting a frame and a loader panel right now just so I can start training and then fully decide on a pack come August. Just need to decide on which frame I want.

    Haha.

I couldn't get rid of my Kifaru sleeping fast enough.

My pack is okay. Too expensive for what it is tho.

I was on point today! Made some slight adjustments to my sight and was getting small tight groups at 40 yards. I ended up shooting through my target and lost an arrow.

Recommendations for a target that won't break the bank?

For field tip only, the bags are awesome. Cheaper too.
