My friend bought the new pro system pack in the 6000 cu in I think. I like that it’s a bit more reinforced than my icon pro packs (what I have). I’ve hauled out about 60-70 pounds of meat with mine and didn’t have any issues. So I assume the new pro is just beefier by demand.

From time to time they put their packs on sale about 20% off.

how well does the new bino case close up? I have the previous one and get annoyed how little branches and stuff get inside it when I’m in thick stuff.

It seems to close up pretty well. It closes with elastic bands but feels pretty snug and I’d doubt little twigs and branches would find their way in there

Just under 7 pounds with out the scope, so depends on your definition of heavy!!

It is not light, in my opinion. But sitting at a stand shouldn't be an issue.....aiming for an extended time might be though.

Ravin has new bow packages for over $3000!!!! Bow, scope, quiver, arrows, soft case, maybe broadheads - unreal!!!

I did sight it in on Saturday.....

First shot at 10 yards was too low and the bolt exploded on impact with the small wooden table under the target!! 2 more shots to dial it in at 10 yards, then 2 more to dial in at 20 yards. Only took 3 shots @ 50 yards to be 2" low from a perfect dead center on the target.

Brand new dense, almost rubbery crossbow target and got 15-16" penetration of the bolts, which were very hard to remove. Never saw an arrow through the scope. Didn't know where I was shooting till I got close to the target (binocs would have made that part easier, but I wasn't thinking!).

Not sure how that last fact will be when hunting......will I be able to tell where the bolt actually hits a deer or not?? Kind of concerns me, as with my compounds or past crossbow, I could always see the impact. Now, not so sure??

Thats not terrible considering some of the newer compound bows start at 1500-1800 bare bow only.

If I didn't reuse some of my accessories when I bought my Mathews DXT new 10 or so years ago, I would have had, I think $1100+ into it without arrows/broadheads.
