I'm on vacation this week also. Plan was to build a new 8×8 deck on north side of house. Got it framed up on Monday. Using composite deck boards. Found out they were all bad. Had to order new ones.
Not sure about tree stand hunting this year. Back in April I tore the meniscus in my knee. Then last month I screwed up my quadricep on the same leg. Swelling is down. Don't have full flexibility. It gets stiff when sitting down. Doc advised against ladders. Well we'll see.
Using this week to still get stuff ready.

    Good luck to you.

The 2 blade hypodermics have done good on my last two deer, I see no reason to change.

Not gonna lie. No one was a bigger Rage basher than me. In 2017 I picked up a pack of 1-1/2" 100gr Hypodermics. Ten deer later, they have performed flawlessly. No penetration issues, horror movie worthy bloodtrails. Still shoot 100gr 2 blade Magnus Stingers and 100gr ST ViperTricks. Enjoy your short bloodtrails!!

My last season turned me into a rage basher. I used these exact Broadheads last season to take a Mule Deer. Arrow went in one side and did not exit the other side. There was not an ounce of blood anywhere from where I hit him to where he dropped. I was very dissapointed with these broadheads. Back to three blade fixed this year.

I had a similar experience last year. 25 yard shot, shot looked good. I could see the arrow in the deer as it ran off. Not a drop of blood. I looked for hours with no luck. It was the first deer I lost. I’m back to my fixed three blades again.

Luckily I found mine. He ran straight up the trail and had to jump a fence. I found him on the other side of the fence. I wonder if he hadn't of jumped that fence if he would have ran off into the woods and got somewhere i could see him if i wouldn't have retrieved him at all. there wasn't even a drop of blood under where he lay

Glad you found yours, you got lucky with no blood. I lost mine in a young pine tree plot. I walked it row by painful row. My legs were destroyed from briars. I never found the arrow or found any sign of him afterwards.
A buddy of mine shot a doe earlier last season. His shot was a little far back but we tracked the doe down. I found her bedded down and put a kill shot on her with the same broad head. It was a great heart shot and she didn’t move from where I hit her. My buddy pulled out the arrow and commented that it didn’t look like it opened. I should have listened.

3 days in a row without hearing any bugling. Might just go and sit tomorrow in a high traffic area and hope for the best.

Yea shot several grouse in Montana last year.. none of them were even half that one’s size. Would have took her out but she kinda became a camp buddy. She was always in the same spot every morning and night as we were hiking out to hunt so I decided to let her be

I don't like sitting for too long. Much more fun hiking around trying to aggravate a bull.
