    Im guessing you're two hours west because two hours east of Knox theres some pretty good hills, some call em knobs and some big bucks. You gotta want it though, plenty of public land just dont get mistaken for being out there looking for ginseng or shine stills....

    About 17:15 hrs today I watched a really nice 4pt buck come in on me starting at about 1 o'clock. He took about 12 minutes to make his way to my right and ended up 9 yards from me. He stomped, snorted and nodded his head at me for 20-25 seconds and then took off. He came back 3 different times before eventually disappearing back into the swamp. No shot due to the thickness of the brush etc. It'll let the area settle down for a few days. Pretty cool how close these animals get to us. Everyone have a day.
