    Spent 16 of the last 48 hours mowing, trimming, sawing, and clearing my land in Texas for this season.

    was gifted the opportunity to lay eyes on a 140 buck this morning sitting on my front pond less than 20’ from the road. That’s a damn good buck for my property. Here’s to hoping he sticks around!

    PXL_20240917_211326052.jpg So I shot 3D archery for years and years. Was pretty good at it, was actually really good at it. If you compared me to say a MLB baseball player I'd have been a third baseman who hit 285 played a decent third base and made 2.8 million a year. But I wasn't that guy, I was a guy who could shoot some really really good scores at 3D tournaments in the fingers category. So while I get didn't get rich putting all that time and effort into competing, I did get this. First time shooting this year 35 yards. Muscle memory is a thing.
