I'll get back to you. That said, and I know talk is cheap, that would have been an unacceptable group at 40 yards (maybe 50 when I was at the top of my game) back in the day with fingers.

Never for the better. That said I've been able to offset old age somewhat by running and strength training. At 63 I can still get shit done. It's my eyes. I can't see the pins clearly enough to ever be able to shot as well as I once did.

So I would be interested in knowing what type of release you all shoot. I shot fingers for years because I was really good at it and won a bunch of tournaments. Come deer season, when I was hunting more than practicing being as proficient as I would like to be became difficult. So I decided to switch over to release. Letting go instead of triggering turned out to be really difficult. Then I found this. No punching the trigger, just slide the finger off the trigger and the arrow is gone.

I prefer a hook release over the gator clamp style cause of ease of clipping onto my bow (I can do it by feel)

I also use the wrist strap ones, don’t like the handhelds

had to look it up cause I forgot what model I have but I rock the Truefire Hardcore

I've used Free Flight releases for over 30 years....in that time I've bought 3 of them and currently still have 2 of them.

I use the hook style these days, highly recommend their products.

I’ve bounced around. I’ve done the cheap ones a long time ago when I first started. Then when I got more serious, I got a signature bow and switched to a back tension release to help fix some bad habbits from self learning.

I lost my hand held on a hunt at some point so I went back to a wrist release, but I still shoot it like a back tension release. I set the trigger fairly fine, so when I back wall there isn’t much finger movement, and thus no punching the trigger.

It really helps group size at 80-115 yards.

    I’m a big handheld fan, I have a b3 exit.

The break feels cleaner to me, like I can pull through with my back vs how I used a wrist strap.

really sucks when you drop it out of a stand and loose an opportunity though haha

I shoot the Trueball Beast XT, love it, wrist release, I have smaller wrists.
