its considered "old" now, but a Mathews Eliminator II. I had to chuckle when the bow guy said its a good older bow...still shoots 310FPS IBO. Good enough for me, Ive only lost one deer with it so far. And I assume is was just a bad shot on my part.

I've been shooting a Matthews Classic forever. Only deer I missed I attribute to the nock coming off my arrow as it released.

I can't get myself to drop $$$ for a new bow.

yeah I was wondering about the prices going up!?! Its like manufacturers caught on to the popularity and started jacking prices...I seriously took a double take when I saw a $1200 bow! and i saw an ad for a $2000 crossbow!! ridiculous

I've been thinking about buying an inexpensive wood recurve bow to start hunting with.

like its been said before...just because the price is high doesnt make you a better shot or kill deer better. That is where people get confused.

    Yep.

My dedicated deer rifle is $160 CVT youth 7mm-08. Break barrel Single shot. I mounted a $250 Nikon scope on top of it and take deer and hog at 100-200 yards. It's light weight and easy to carry and easy to clean.

My stepdad and his brother liked my setup so much they each went and bought one.

I have a super bad habit of selling bows and buying new ones. It's not because I feel like I can get something better.

I think it's just the thought of "new".

I had a 2015 PSE Drive LT that I sold after I wore the string out and got a 2016 PSE Dream Season Decree. I did the same thing with that one, wore the string out and sold it to my friend for his kid at a good price and not I have a 2017 Obsession Defcon M6Z.

Probably the last time I'm gonna buy a new bow for a few years due to college and more responsiblitly haha.

    It's pretty sexy though.
