Oh look another internet bad ass. Listen and listen close...It's not butt hurt over simple things. Been here a long time I just have zero time for buck shaming. Zero. And I'll call out every a$$hole that does it. FB and social media is replete with hunters quantifying their kill "I know it's only a 6pt, I know it's not a monster, It's just a little 8pt..." These hunters are half ashamed of their buck. This constant chase for inches, age class, and hit lists with ****ing idiot names does nothing, absolutely nothing for the future of whitetail hunting in the US. Ya, ya...herd structure, balance the buck to doe ratio...but that's not the reason for "letting it go another year." Disclaimer here This does not apply to @buckhuntin-tacoma and a few others. I know them and their attitude towards hunting.

Since PA implemented point restrictions I've watched leasing increase exponentially while we lost over 250,000 hunters since 2002. Main reason listed. Loss of places to hunt. Farms and property leased out. I don't blame the landowners, not at all. Hell, if I could lease out 300 acres, 1550 wooded to 6 guys for $1,000 a pop, I'd probably be looking at to do it. And here's the thing, I used to lease. For 10 years I was on a lease. I am more than able to afford it. I just choose NOT to be part of what is ulitmately pushing hunting to a rich mans sport.

I hunt for no ones approval but my own. You should do the same.

I never said you needed my approval. I simply stated that instead of shooting that buck give it a chance to mature. A doe would taste the same. That's all, nothing more. That you would interpret that as an attack on you is sad. And that these posters here would be like "mike drop" is even sadder. Shoot whatever the fuck you want. I just voiced a simple opinion and that you all made a clusterfuck out of it is well, IDK. Just Jesus fucking Christ.

I saw 8 or 9 does tonight and a scraggly 8pt that was messing with them....I managed (once again) to come home empty handed.
And I heard one of my gloves hit the ground while I was climbing up, luckily it was 41° cause I aint climbing down and getting that shit.

No. There's a river we have to cross (with a side×side) and it rained like crazy and the river got too high. Gonna try again when we all can.

What's sad, really sad, is that you truly don't get it. I've hunted private land for 20 couple years. Most have been all wooded properties, with the exception of the previous one. 1,000 acres, about 100 planted. Corn, soybean, then fallow for a year. That buck I showed a picture of is indictative of this area. YA, some are bigger. Typically on well managed, groomed properties. I don't hunt them. If you would like to know why, ask.

As far as a doe tasting the same, so. Around here any doe that makes it past 2-1/2 years is as hard or harder to kill then the dumb ass buck following their dicks around. She's the patriarch of the herd and doesn't miss a thing. A few years back, 2014?, I had a 3 legged doe come in, about a 35 yard shot. I figgered this girl had enough issues and passed. She ended up picking me off and blew for 15 minutes. Back at the truck, talking to another bowhunter, I mentioned the 3 legged doe and giving her a pass. He told me that was Tripod and she's an asshole. She was at least 2-1/2 years old then. She pretty much knew where the stands were, and if a hunter was in one she would blow and blow. It was 2017 till someone dropped that PITA.

As to the rest of your rant, Wal-Greens is having a special on Ativan.
