Finally picked up the bow again after 8 years of being out. Got a Martin single cam. Stuck mainly to tournament target shooting but am looking into picking up hunting.

Quick question, hopefully someone can help me out. I currently use Easton A/C/C ultralites. Does anyone use the A/C/C Pro Hunting? If so what are your general opinion of them?

Im trying to stay with the same general weight and flight so i can swap back and forth depending on what I am shooting without retuning the rest.

Bought a Diamond black ice last bow season. It shoots 288fps. It is pretty forgiving. Haven't killed shit with it yet though. I pass up too many deer. Last night I passed on 4 different does thinking the monster buck was around.

I use the A/C/C 339's. I'm not sure of the pro hunting A/C/C's. Not up on the latest stuff. I've been shooting this set-up for too many years. I will be getting a new Mathews next year and a whole new set-up. I have been very happy with the 339's though.

Thanks for the info Ill probably stick with the A/C/Cs I have. How do they hold up for deer?

in the 15 years I've used the A/C/C's I've harvested many deer with them and they do fantastic. Very consistant flight. I'm getting just under 300fps with them using an old Hoyt Fast Flite bow. I mean old too.......almost 18 year old bow:eek:....man I need a new bow!!

Im using 328s. Ill probably just stick with them based on your advice. They done nothing but good things for me in target shooting, was just wondering how they stand up to deer.

I know what you mean about old bows. Mines 12 years old now, the current string is about 8 years old, but seems to have held up just fine. Probably should get a new string soon, might be pushing my luck.

yeah, I always believe the set-up is second to shot placement. You can kill a deer with a pencil if you stick it through his heart. Hope you have great success this season bro.
