If you were glasses, would you need the visualizer lens or is it a nearsighted, farsighted situation

Haven't hunted for the last few years, but on my way home today my 9 year old spotted a white fawn. Turned the truck around and sure enough there it was with mom. Didn't get a pic because it was in someones side yard. Felt creepy enough that I was sitting at the bottom of the driveway for a few minutes anyways.
Now back in 2011 I snapped a pic of this white (not albino) 8 point right across the street. Hope to see the little one again, since it's close to my house!

Yes. The issue I have with it is its in the wrong spot now. Needs to be moved up a tinnie bit so I can look through my lenses at the right angle

Well then that’s no big deal then, that’s just part of setting it up and you have that covered right?

Its ok for this year but ill do a complete restring and all new set up at that time.
Its also odd because I have one of those notches you put on the string that would normally go against your nose, i have mine rigged to land at the corner of my mouth.
It was intentionally done that way and I liked it before but now that I'm basically relearning to shoot, i notice it means my draw length is actually shorter which is disadventageous for arrow stats.

I might even just buy a new bow next year and really hit the rest button ;)

I think I want to go back to a Parker.

Yeah, kisser button’s have been used for decades and decades and work great, and yes I agree with you after this season I would go back to basics and review your whole platform and like you said possibly even go to a new bow

What kind of release do you have? They have some that adjust in or out, maybe your draw length wasnt right to begin with. When I first started with my bow I was supposed to be set up right by this bow shop and it turned out I was way off! I got back to where I needed to be and its been right on since!

Is it just one set length? Kind of sounds like your bow isnt quite set up to your draw length. Nothing wrong with the kisser button but you do lose a little speed with it. but it really not that significant. It should be consistent and right at the edge of your mouth IIRC.

    It is an adjustible release.

I do need to spend some time resetting up my bow. I took enough time off where I'm able to break all my bad habits.

Anyone know how to reinsert a peep without a press? Mine decided to go for short flight while practicing today. Luckily I found it but I can’t get it back in between the strands... T-minus 9 days until my texas archery hunt so time is of the essence
