I'm running 35/11.5/17 on a 4.75" BS wheel with a 1.75" spacer and it clears

right, it is. lol. Thought maybe a skinnier tire would help. I read a few comments above that the 2.0 Trail Relo would/could help with more tire compared the 2.5

Would going with the 2.0 relo help with clearing 35s compared to the 2.5 relo.

Are you running the 2.0 or 2.5 relocation kit?

Appreciate the response. You wouldn't happen to have a pic of the back side of the tire and shock clearance, would you?

Yeah the Archive Trail 2.0 relocation has about 1" more clearance, see post #1 details in that thread

The Trail 2.0 relo is for 2.0" smooth body shocks only, so it's tucked towards the bed, whereas this original 2.5" relo has room for 2.5" bypasses and even 3.0" smooth body

It looks like a lot of room until the tire is fully stuffed. The tire moves in an arc toward the truck as it articulates up (since it has to stay perpendicular with the axle), so that space gets taken up pretty quickly.

My truck would hardly ever see the trail. I can count on one hand the times I took my 4runner out on trails. With that being said, I might be considering it in the near future but will continue doing research. Another option will be changing wheels. As much as I like the FJ wheels with the new color, I might change them out when I decide to relocate/upgrade my rear shocks for some with better backspacing and a little wider. This is just Taconie 1.0. Just wait for 2.0. lol

Got my shock relocation done today. I was very impressed with the quality and fitment of all the archive garage mounts.6533491B-CB51-48BB-9E01-84BCF9BBDF48.jpgD293C096-2BF2-4395-8D9F-702F5AFE20B8.jpg

Yup wheels and everything. It seems to only be making the noise at the very initial part of the stroke, like as soon as I hit a speed bump.

Is the tower bolted to the bed at the top?
Thats required because the tower is close to the bed and the frame rails roll inboard under load.
Is your shock rotating (around the body centerline)? Some brands don't have orings or washers at the bearings that keep the shock from slopping around, which you can add. Make sure your rod ends/bearings are 1.5" wide and locked down

Towers are bolted, shocks aren’t rotating. I’m fairly certain it’s the passenger side leaf pack though (Icon RXT). I’ve read some other forums saying people experience a clunk with these packs but I just haven’t been able to find the exact location yet. Loving the relocate kit so far tho!!!

    For a 12.5" tire, I recommend a 17x9 wheel with 3.5" backspacing and trying a 1.25" spacer
