The bison pictures were very cool, the closest I've seen to that traffic jam is when the Amish are moving their herd from one pasture to another.

Would have to second the vote against wearin' a "Rangers" jersey, a Black & Orange one should be alright though. Remember to keep yer stick on da ice!

Not sure where you are in your travels, but I just arrived at work on Monday to find a nice cold front coming through. So beware it might be chilly by the time you get to Deadhorse. We're currently at -55F wind chill with a 10 minute frostbite warning about 90 miles east.

Just checked with some friends in Deadhorse. Looks to be -30F ambient with 15mph winds pushing -57F wind chill.

Hibernation Brah. Unless them pesky polar bears have come inland

But I haven't seen any since the whaling season.

Awesome pictures. Makes me proud to call BC home. :)

This province is just massive. There is so much to explore and see. There's a reason why we call it "Beautiful British Columbia". I'm trying to explore more and more of it every summer. I spent two weeks this past summer exploring the Kootenay Region. I think this summer I'm going to try and spend two weeks exploring Vancouver Island. I have never ventured as far north as the OP, especially during winter time, but its definitely something I want to do one day.

Hello team, sorry for not posting back...I was enjoying the time off and some of the places including Coldfoot has no Internet/TV/Phone. Anyway, I made it to PrudhoeBay on Sunday night and back to Coldfoot for couple of days. I will start posting pictures as soon as I can(slow Internet again)...besides there is a lot of text doc that I want to post up. Until then, here are some slippery Fairbanks pictures...
Truck got it's 20K service done at Fairbanks!

It will soon need 25K service as soon as I reach SFO Bay Area!!!

We were at the Arctic Circle in '93 the day they installed that sign. Great memories. That is as far as we got in the rental car we had.
Road had like 2 inches of powdered dust on it on the way up and when it rained on the way back it turned to a really slick mud. I don't think snow would be as slippery. Had about a quarter inch of mud on the car. Hosed it off at a self serve car wash while the flat tire was getting fixed.

Enjoying your trip. Safe travel back home.
