Are 2” block rear spacers okay for daily driving?

2010 PreRunner Tacoma double cab. Mainly just wanted it for aesthetics for my father. Gonna get some new TRD 17” rims on the rig with some 265/70/17’s. Put a cheap 2” block spacer lift in the rear and partnered it up with Old Emus 60091 shocks since the old ones were leaking. Will the spacer cause any issues after the bigger tires are put on? I don’t mind slapping off the block lift just for some reassurance but is anyone running a 2 inch block lift with issues? I know it screws with the driveline angles but my dad just daily drives the truck doesn’t do much off roading with it. Regardless just don’t want anything detrimental happening. Just was looking for a nice leveled look.

You don't need to lift the rear for tire clearance, they don't rub any pretty much any size.

1" rear spacer is the general max for tacoma. 2" is fine but as you said driveline angles and axle wrap starts to be an issue.

okay thanks. I’ll keep that in mind. Starting to think I probably should’ve left the springs stock but the Old Man Emu shocks said they were for a 2” lift so probably should’ve just slapped some newer bilsteins on. Hope he doesn’t have any issues with it for I’ll feel bad lol.

For me personally, blocks gave me axle wrap along with increase wear on my stock leafs. Going with a whole leaf pack replacement fixed the issues.

I ran 2” blocks for about 10k miles. It was fine. As long as you don’t accelerate like crazy, they will be fine
