Are 2005-2011 taillights the same as 2013+?

Looking to buy some Lamin-x and it shows two pretty drastically different shapes for the two year spans. There's a review on the 12+ ones that say they don't fit at all. Wondering if I should order the older ones for my '15

 

Pretty positive they are the same as far as fitment. They just switched to the led style lights. I know a few people on here didn't like the led look and swapped with the older 05-11 solid red look.

 

2005 all the way up to 2015 taillight housings are the all same

They haven't changed dimensions, only thing that ever changed on them was they went to LED after 2009.

 

Just one more confirmation, yes.

I traded my neighbor my 2012 LEDs for his 2006 base taillights, each unit installed seamlessly in the other truck.

 

2009 was the first year WITH Led -2008 was the LAST year with incandescent.
