Are 285/75/16 and 285/70/17 same size?

    Or is one taller than the other?
    What is the difference?
    Currently have 285/75/16 but the wheels i want only come in 17 so thinking of changing setups
    Anything i should know if i go the other route?

    so technically they are smaller
    I wonder if its that noticeable

    the revs/mile part does that mean i would get better gas milage?

    I would imagine that .1" wouldn't be enough to notice

    none
    That is 1/10" larger in diameter. You'll never notice. In fact after a couple thousand miles you wear the tire down more than 1/10"

    Too close to notice a difference IMO. I've seen tires the exact same size vary more than that.
