i had AC tacoma before I got this '17 DC Tacoma. I made this choice because the back seat in AC Tacoma is too small for people in back, whoever is riding with me.

If I didn't carry people at all, I would have kept my old one. No problem for kids who ride in back. But not adults though.

I carry workers from construction to lunch and back in my DC Tacoma, no issues.

If i didnt have car seats it would have been my first choice. Give me a AC, V6 manual, with a SB

I bought an access cab because all the kids were grown and on their own. My need would not utilize a full back seat but I needed a full size bed, so an access cab with a full size bed was right for my needs.

If he kids came by for a trip with us, my wife’s 4Runner has that covered

I absolutely love love love my access cab. And I would have bought my new 23 TRD PRO in an access cab if they made it. The configuration is the most universal of all the trucks. You get the 6 foot bed and internal dry storage space. You simply can not beat the access cab.... go buy one

Access cab cab to me is better looking, has a full bed, and my Great Dane fits. Because I do not think it's nice to torture people the first mod I made to the truck was remove the rear seats And replace them with a flat piece of carpeted ply wood. The Dane fits, plenty of room for my tool bag and test gear left over. Only complaint is the opposite opening doors bit of a pain in a parking lot.

Same here. while it took awhile to get my 2020, its been well worth it. It just seem better built, and performs better vs a buddies double cab he once had that was a year older. Its too bad, I guess more people prefer those 4 door taxi ones.

My only regret is that my access cab came with rear seats, I would prefer the utility bins and a molle panel back there.

I'd hazard a guess that eight out of ten Tacoma owners would be far more comfortable and better suited with a well equipped Sienna, if only they could swallow the pride necessary to load up the family and slip behind the wheel of a minivan.

Dumped the Tacoma, that's all it needed.
I don’t choose to stuff my 13 year old into the back seat of an access cab.

and I like being able to open the rear door without opening the front door in order to get to storage areas in the back seat behind the driver.

I would have also gotten a long bed, but one wasn’t coming in for quite a while. I feel that the DCLB is far more rare than an AC.

Is that a serious question? If it was originally posted on Friday I wouldn't need to ask.

They do look better, that part I agree with. But you're about 2' shy of a full bed.

Coming from a full size truck with a 6 3/4' bed I was concerned about the 5' bed when I bought my DC Tacoma. In the nearly 16 years I've had it I've never missed that small difference and I haul 12' lumber and kayaks all the time. Nothing short of 8' would have made any difference.

And even with my DC I wouldn't put more than 1 smallish adult in the back seat for more than an hour-long trip. I wouldn't even put a kid in the back of an Access Cab. Don't even need the seat. It is for storage.

Unless you have mobility issues, I always park away from other vehicles. I get more exercise, avoid door dings and opening my Access Cab doors is no problem.

My brother has ridden in my 4wd Toyota pickups for years, yet he can't understand why I don't buy an suv like his highlanders and rave4's he's owned since 96. I had to remind him all the times I transported large items to your home you couldn't do with your suv unless you put a hitch on it, and borrowed my trailer.

I personally really wanted an Access Cab Tacoma, that body style is far better looking. I have a daughter, who is getting married, I plan to load up 4 adults into my Taco, to go on some off-road trails.

Had a Tundra SR5, access cab, flair sides..loved the performance and looks and it could fit a couple of adults, semi-comfortably, in the back seats for longer rides. I did find access to the rear seats a pain at times due to the suicide doors. Would have tried the Taco with the access cab but with 2 grandkids.....needed a bit more room than the Taco access cab provides. Do like the looks of it though..!!
