Huh, I kind of look at the DCSB like a chic with big tits and no ass.

Just doesn't quite look right.

I think its all about wht your needs are. Im younger and the AC makes sense for me. I also like the long bed. As far as DCSB's, I think that they have they're uses, but once I get a little older I'll be going DCLB for its versatility.

I have always owned AC's I just think they are more functional as a truck,I also have a subru in the family so I guess I don't need to compromise and buy a DC.
I always thought a DC was kind of like a station wagon with a bed. Something that Chevy chase would drive.

I really love Access and Extended Cabs with a passion. I didn't intend to buy my 2014 DCSB, but it was the only 6-speed in the region for some stupid ******* reason (we build them right in SA). I had an '07 AC V6 for a bit, but it was 2WD and I wanted an FR-S instead. The Tacoma at least looks good as a Double Cab. Ford in my opinion uglified the SVT Raptor, when they added the SuperCrew option in early 2011.

I will never forgive them for that, as every fool under the sun bought one in that configuration to keep on pavement (or garage) and I hardly see anymore of those, unless early examples. I finally found one and pulled the trigger on it, before it disappeared like the rest.

I think reality is that most (yes im sure you are the ultra manly exception) people who own trucks don't haul things more than 5' but less than 6' THAT often so the short bed works.

I had a tundra with a full bed and REALLY used it maybe 5 times? and half of those I still had to put the gate down

I haul a 3rd or 4th person WAY more often then I carry lumber

Man that takes my back. My father had an 85 extacab like that. there were no seats but it had a shelf with a big lip on the front of it to keep things on the shelf and not on the floor. needless to say I spent a lot of time sitting on that painful shelf. When we would go on trips we would bring pillows to sit on. Interesting to see something like that come back.
