if he engages his 4x4 this is going to be bad. the rear tires will rotate slower than the front tires effectively causing massive amounts of strain on the drive train and diff.

theres a reason why people don't run unequal tire sizes on 4x4 or all wheel drive cars.

Trust me were not being smartasses or rude. This is for your own safety and for whoever else is on the road when your UCA decides to snap sending your truck into a somersault

By doing your ghetto-fabulous modifications you are going to cost yourself thousands of dollars in repairs just to get your truck to be stock and safe again

And it's not just a matter of keeping it out of 4wd... you grinded your upper control arm weakening the structural support. It's only a matter of time before that snaps and odds are you will probably total your truck if you're driving any faster than 30mph while it happens

Keep it out of DRIVE for now. It's seriously not safe, man. I don't care how long you have been driving like this, in all seriousness you could literally kill yourself driving it like this.

Dude, keep your truck in the driveway and invest in a beach cruiser to get around. You are seriously going to kill yourself and/ or someone else driving your truck in the state that it's in

    this^ no shit dude!

your going to rip off body panels if you hit a large enough bump and the grinding of the uca's is just scary brother. most of the guys in here have done some serious mods to their trucks including myself.

save up your money see in the meantime you can pick up a set of factory wheels from the b/s/t section and run them until you have the funds to mod it properly.

Maybe that's why the OP doesn't get much rubbing - the 33" tire has worn down to 32" diameter...

I think this is the first time I've seen stock wheels painted like this.

this is true but, he still needs to park it and get some decent tires on it.
