Are all the first gen 2.7 liters interchangeable??

cold air do not sit on battery box. This barn find is a mess of pieces from different toyotas. Whith the 2rz and 3rz being so similar, I wold look at the block plate like you point out above.

Yep, that's what I get for skimming the OPs post. I was looking at the motor only. Figured, yep that's a 2/3rz and clearly not a 22re. Thus I assumed it's got to be a Tacoma. Never looked at the engine bay.

I thought you were messing with me, LOL I did take a second look though. I even wondered if on the 95.5 taco the battery tray was on the right. I had a 96 and it wasn't.
