Ive been looking at ordering a set of univall UCAs. They don't really vary in price much unless you get the top of the line total chaos ones. I'm probably going to order the all pro ones unless for some reason spending a extra $100 will benefit me somehow. Is there anything I should know?

Make sure the misalignment spacers and the "slug adapter" that installs in the spindle in place of the OE ball joint are all stainless. Otherwise they will be rusted in place after a couple of years. Total Chaos advertises these parts are all stainless. All-Pro doesn't mention it, so call to confirm.

If they aren't pushing stainless I highly doubt they are.

My Camburg Uni ball UCA's have treated me well for the last 3 years. I got them when they were only $641 from downsouthmotorsports.com. They've gone up since then it looks like.

I have a set of Specialty Products Comp. UCA. I have just installed them and have no miles on them but I like the adjustablity and the sealed, greaseable ball joint. They look very well made.

I assume those are the SPC Light Racing UCAs right? I just ordered those last week, should be here soon. Looking forward to putting them on, though they are not uniball

Not all aft mkt UCA's utilize the same sized Uni-ball.

So check those prior to making purchase.

    for example... I think the All-Pro UCA's use a smaller Uni-ball
    then does the Camburg UCA's.

Not that it'll be the end of the world...
But the larger Uni-balls are generally stronger and survive longer.

ap and camburg both use the same FK 1" uniball.

actually as far as 1st gens go i believe they all use 1" uniballs (the old billet icon uca might have used a 1.25")

besides ebay you cant really buy a bad uniball uca imo.

    my mistake... I thought Camburg's 1st gen Uni's were 1.25
Maybe they used to be... and changed that ?

No matter... I'm just saying one needs be aware that not all uni-balls are the same size.
and that one should be sure prior to making purchase.
