I'm debating having these installed along with new wheels and tires but am not sure if it adversely effect the ride or actually benefit. I hear people talk of vibrations and whatnot. If I do have these installed in the front does that mean I should be able to run a 285/75/16 tire size? Thanks a lot . . .

Yes, set at the 2.5" setting, with some trimming.

I had my billies installed last week @ 2.5" and my new rims/tires installed yesterday @ 4WP. They had to do very minor trimming on both sides and I can turn @ full either way with no rubbing at all. Be sure when ordering your rims that you get the right backspacing and offset. Mine are the XD796 Revolvers 17x9 4.53"bs with -12 offset.

BTW, order the billies from Sonny @ downsouthmotorsports, he has the best prices and top notch customer service. IMO, don't bother with trying to order from his website, just call it in, it's much easier and you'll get an email confirmation from them when they ship your stuff. I ordered my stuff on a Tuesday morning and got it Friday the same week.

How much is a good estimate for the installation of the Billy's?

this might be kinda of a dumb question but the fella out here at Flips Tire asked if my 05 prerunner had shocks or struts. I'm assuming only the TRD's come with shocks. The tire guy said having the the 5100's installed if I had struts would be more expensive and harder to adjust once i've set the height without taking the strut apart again. kinda confusing . . .
