I used to have a high end jawbone bluetooth headset, I only used it in the car or at home when my phone battery was dying (i would plug it in and keep working ons whatever with the headset in my ear)

then i dropped it and it got ran over, so i bought a head unit with bluetooth, best thing i have done

but for just in the car, not douchey

    but overall, these work better

Kind of like crocs. I become a douche only if I wear them beyond my own property lines.

I have had the blue tooth. I use the wired ones. Better for reeling in the phone if it slides on floor; never have to worry about charging.

Good point. I am in the clear whilst camping. And grocery store before, say, 8:30am on a weekend; otherwise, I'm a douche.

A small handful of select mods.
If you have slightly diminished hearing you could always get the new hearing aids with bluetooth. The go deep in your ear so you see nothing at all on the outside. But hey they have bluetooth connectivity so you can really look like a douche walking around talking to yourself and no one will ever know.

My work gave me one but I have never used it.

IMO they have gone about the handsfree laws all wrong. It's not that actual act of holding a phone that causes accidents. It's people concentrating on the phone conversation more than driving.

My dad used to wear his all the time until he got a bluetooth headunit in his taco because we gave him so much shit for looking like a tool. We used to call it his "helmet"
