I'm looking into getting a good pair of headers for my truck (08' tacoma V6 extcab), but want to get some that dont leak and dont empty the bank. I already have a magnaflow cat system installed and does it makes a noticeable amount of gain over stock? Short tube or long tube?

imo,all the times dealing with headers, they were more maintance/problems than i had tolerance for.2 times i actually put the stock manifolds back on.good luck.

To be honest if you're not forced induction the headers won't do all that much, certainly not enough to be considered a good bang for the buck.
