Nope. But from what my dealer said, building it on toyota.com is irrelevant because when the dealer creates a build sheet, it’s a completely different system, options Toyota let’s me add individually on Toyota.com are not available to them. o_O that is why I’m looking for people with real life examples of TRD Pros without a sunroof.

I have a 18 Pro MT/SB no sunroof. But, hey, are you a current Tacoma owner or spent time in one? At 5'11 I feel like this truck sucks getting in and out of. Poor ingress with the 3rd Gen imo.

Also, ask around the forum, there are people with access to factory build sheets that show every Tacoma Toyota Tacoma that has been built, options, and where its going in the us. That's how I found out, definitively, that you cannot get a MT/DC/LB and that you cannot get Premium audio with any MT Tacoma. Unfortunately, both things I wanted. Found a MT/DC with OEaudio+ installed already so it worked out in the end because the dealer didn't even know the upgraded system was in it. Perfect Tacoma form me would be a MT/DC/LB w/premium audio.

@MannyS, thanks for the reply… that’s exactly what I feared. I guess it doesn’t matter since I can’t seem to find any 2023 Tacoma’s in stock around here that I like and the 2024s aren’t out yet!

Yes I had a 2021 SR5 before it got totaled. It was comfortable enough for me at 6’6”… but you are right, it is not the best design. I have way more headroom in my dad‘s Highlander with a sunroof. From what I’m reading, the new generation is supposed to have better seating position and give more room.

Yes, I put in an order for an OR but had to stick with a SB because I requested a MT. I’m not very hopeful that one meeting my specs will ever arrive, but we’ll see. I also requested LED headlights and DRL’s, and the dealer is telling me I can’t get them without the premium package with leather seats, but Toyota.com let’s me build one that way. I like your idea about the build sheets. I’ll keep researching. Thanks!

Yes it’s such a let down to keep seeing vehicles that almost perfect only to find they are not really available.

The dealer told me even though the led headlights / led drl package is listed separately, their system won’t actually let them build it without the premium package, which of course messes me up with the moonroof :annoyed:

2017 and 2018 were the only years the Pros came without sunroofs, anything after 2019 it automatically comes with a sunroof. Your only option would probably be to get an offroad/sport and without a sunroof then get a clazzio or katskin setup for the seats. FWIW I'm 6'3" with a manual transmission so the seating position is a little more limited. The desert does it seat jackers helped out a bunch too.

Thanks again @6MTPro … Yes I’m hoping to find an OR without the premium package and then add on leather myself..

Out of curiosity, since I’m 6‘6“ and haven’t gotten to actually drive 3rd gen Tacoma manual transmission yet, do you have enough legroom? I’m basing my assumption that I will based on my experience with my automatic… just curious how you find the leg room. I’ve been toying with the idea of telling the dealer to expand the search and order an automatic longbed.

Cab size is the same so that wont make a difference for that. I would say I'm more leg than torso and with the steering wheel adjustment it works. My Dad is 6'5" and is longer legs wise too and driven my truck without issue.

Thanks that’s encouraging! I wear a 34” inseam and found the legroom sufficient. Not a huge fan of the lower airbag, but not planning on testing that out again!

You can try wait on the 4th gen and see if the seating position and layout is improved. I'm with you on the knees im at a 33" inseam and my knees are right there for the shifting. The desert doest it seat jackers helped with the leg support but who knows how that plays out in the event of a crash.

Nice. I never got around to trying the seat jackers. I will say that after my recent accident, my lower legs were initially what hurt the most though. From the lower airbag I presume. I was going to wait for the 4th gen, but it may be too pricey and may not be out soon enough. If the right configuration 3rd gen becomes available, I might go that route.
