i bought a knock off set on eBay for like 80 bucks a pair, i only use them in snow pulling people out from the side of the road on bad snow storms here in chicago. they work fantastic, i had used em about 5 times with great success, one of those times i helped a utility van get out and the guy gave me 100 bucks! i told em i wasn't doing it for the $ but he insisted plus he felt bad cause 1 of em cracked a corner.

I've been looking at the x-bulls for cheap insurance. Spending a lot of money lately, but for $100 cdn on Ebay, I would try them. I'm not doing anything yet where I would need them, but I can justify $100 for something like this right now more than $400+ for Maxtrax.

You aint lying, that stuff was like clay. Cleaning it out of the boards was difficult, even with a pressure washer.

I bought the Maxtrax mounts and made the brackets from steel strap.

I'm from Hawaii.... you have no ide how many people ask me if I'm a lifeguard every single week. I think roughly 100 people have asked me that question since I put them on. Literally.

Believe it or not there was actually a beach in that show as well. They coulda just filmed them women running for two hours and replayed that for every episode and I woulda kept watching.

Yup, deleted by Toyota on Gen 3’s but the Gen 2 rail fits.

Oh boy, you better get a real saw then. Stihl's suck. Broke them all the time. Do yourself a favor and get a saw that's actually worth a damn. Rocking all Husqvarna's now. 20200318_122646.jpg

Look here Mr, don’t ruin the sarcasm and satire of this thread.

Obviously @stun gun knows a Katana won’t cut trees better then a chainsaw. Obviously @Gunshot-6A knows a fish can’t either. AND OBVIOUSLY I know that is a tractor mounted CHAINSAW for redwood trees! Trenching is clearly done with the sled dogs. What the fuck else are they doing when there’s no snow? It’s called economics. Without it, they would only have jobs in the winter. JFC!!

I have used MaxTrax and some off brands. Decided on X-Bull Recovery tracks which are very similar for way cheaper. ($67 on AMZ vs $350) Already used them multiple times and they are just fine.
