You were correct about the tie rods being irrelevant. I just made sure to visually confirm both inners and outters were fine.

I then sequentially torqued the lug nuts. I watched the tire tech use an impact with a torque stick, then the torque wrench.

I threaded by hand, then 30, 60, 85. I was surprised at the difference the technique made.

I didn’t mean to ignore what you posted early on. But as you can see, I got a variety of answers ranging from “you’re fine” to “those inners are shot”. I made sure to cover my bases.

As for the road force, one front has a road force of 8 while the other has a road force of 20. I presume that the one with 20 may be the culprit. I enjoy the Duratracs performance in snow and mud but am tempted to switch to a model that doesn’t suffer from these balancing issues.

So there is nothing wrong with the inner/outer tie rod? I'm also seeing similar diagnostic when I was replacing my brakes, movement at the 3 and 9 position (about 1/2"), seeing the tire rods move instantaneously, and hear/see the steering wheel move too. I'm having vibrations at 60+ and have been chasing that vibration for a couple of months now. did getting new tires end up reduce more vibration?

I don’t have this rig anymore. I don’t think it was ever the tie rods. Running wheel/tire combos outside of factory specs caused most of the vibes as far as I know.
