Was cleaning my truck and decided to clean the shocks as well. I notice when I was twist them side to side there is play, is that normal or do I need to tighten the top nut? I've had them on for over a year now with no issues.

Normal. Its twisting between the rubber bushings. Put a torque wrench on it if it bothers you.

Before I answer, what's the bottom rubber bushing (top of the shock) and washer look like?

Appreciate the quick reply. I remember torquing when I installed them, just don't remember them twisting that much. Thanks

They're in good condition. I've only had them on for a little over a year and was hardly driven due to covid.

That top grommet looks fine. You just want to tighten that top nut until the rubber bulges to the size of the big washers. Can't comment on the bottom but some movement is normal.
