We all know they aren't Tacoma Pro rims... they are 4Runner Pro replicas. Probably 8" wide. And yes, the 4Runner Pro rim is matte black. And they do have the casting marks. I have OEM wheels purchased at a dealer... 7 of them to be exact.

What i can't figure is why to have the trd logo is so important to many?

Can’t have anybody knowing that we spent less monies on cheapo knock-offs can we? Or that we got a lesser spec of something. Don’t wanna look cheap or poor, even if it’s [clearly] fake.
If anyone calls it out I’ll just tell ‘em that it performs exactly the same and I’m much smarter for having saved those dollars.

    It’s a win-win scenario for many.

The knock-off's in this case aren't any cheaper than the real deal. I believe they're made by FN Wheels. Most people go with the "knock-off" because it comes in an 8" width, where the OEM is 7". The wider wheel allows for larger tires to be installed.

I’m well aware. Writing with a grain of salt. I had a set of FNs. No TRD logo.
