Are new frames still available from Toyota Parts?

Are there issues with painting over galvanized steel? I imagine when the zinc oxidizes eventually it holds onto paint worse than rusty steel would.

Once I get the current truck up and running, I want to get one that I can tear down to the frame, have it hot dip galvanized, and build up from there. I foresee moving back to where the roads get salted one of these days, and would like a truck that would last in such conditions.

I galvanized mine last summer. It was less than $500. The frame holes all had to be re-tapped, which was the most time-consuming part of the project but it could have been avoided with better planning. I ended up coating the frame with POR15.

To answer your question, no they don't

Three options left:

1.Find a frame that is in a not too bad shape

2. buy frame patches -> https://www.autorust.com/product-category/toyota/

3. Make your own frame patches
