Does a 1 inch block under the leafs equal a 1 inch lift in the rear?

Most trucks come with a block from factory and stacking blocks is very dangerous and illegal in many places. But Toyota’s do not have blocks from factory (to my understanding) so a 1” block would equal 1” lift.

If you look at where the block goes it’s very easy to see that there is zero linkage/mechanical advantage involved and that the block is inline with the axle, so yes a 1” block will lift 1”.

Contrary on the front end, we modify the shock but the wheel is offset 8-10” and connected via A-arms (linkage), so it’s more of a 2:1, 1” block = 2” lift up front.
