Are smoked tail lights legal in FL?

I want to know if these tail lights are legal in Florida, i don't want to buy them now and have a cop play games with me;

Yea as long as the light's visible. I keep waiting to get pulled over for mine (or rear-ended), you can see them at night, but on a sunny day they're hard to see.

 

no the lights are dot approved your good ive got a set and never had a problem in fl with them.

 

I don't live in FL, but those tails look like they would be legal to have. As long as light can travel out of them you shouldn't have a problem with law enforcement fining you.

 

the lenses arent that tinted plus the led's are really bright.
