Also, some brands have different names for different regions. One reason gas is much the same all over. One refinery, many brands of fuel...

Seems like US has cheap gas compared to global costs if I recall correctly.

Yep. Even back in 2000, I was paying close to $8/Gal in Germany. It sold for something like $2/Liter.

    I do too...

I swear the engine sounds best and feels like it has a bit more power on Shell 93 than anything else. Mileage is about the same. Could be my imagination.

May we know what this was?

    BP sells gas??

Same here. Next to that, Shell.
What are you referring to? Ping?

If for some reason you have to use ethanol in your stored equipment, Sta-bil is a good product for protecting it. 2oz/5gal and stores for whatever x amount of months.

BP sold gas here in town until 10 years ago. Not sure if they pulled out of CA, but I haven't seen one since unless they're selling under a different name.

Stabil is good to keep the gas fresh and I use it, but I still no longer put any ethanol in my lawn equipment. I probably wouldn't drive long distances just for this, but there happens to be a couple nearby places. Costs .60 something a gallon more but I'm only using 2 o 3 gallons a month at most.

So what about Citgo? I don't like/use them, we have one in town. Anyone else use them? i have a feeling they may be regional too.

We have BP here but I haven't seen a 76, Texaco or Cheveron in close to 10 years.

Is no Ethanol worth .60/gallon? It isn't worth the aforementioned 3.3% fuel mileage increase, so I am assuming the reasoning is for engine health?

I like 76 because there's an actual 76 refinery in San Pedro, CA. There's an Arco one down the road in Wilmington, Exxon/Mobil in Torrance, & also a Chevron one up the road in El Segundo, CA. Just FYI...
