Yup & honestly I don't think it matters that much. With a company as big as Toyota QC plays a big role. Not all parts/materials are made in the same country as where the vehicle is being assembled. And there are plenty of Mexicans that work in USA factories too. It all comes down to people like hearing made in 'Merica rather than Mexico. :)

Quality control process should be the same at both plants. Is it being managed and executed the same? Probably not.. comes down to human error. Lack of oversight, etc. it’s only as good as Toyota can manage and enforce.

How racist is the OP on a scale of “1 to Make Mexico Build The Wall”?

Pretty sure it wasn’t built in Japan right? Your point is? Built in the USA right?

I believe the parts all come from different places.

There's always work ethic and all that, but Tacomas are made in Mexico and Ram trucks are also made in Mexico. Ram trucks suck and break constantly and Tacomas are known for specifically not breaking. I think it just depends on personal view rather than country of origin.

Question: Do you really think a company like Toyota would let the location of its plant influence the build quality? Especially since the assembly process is exactly the same, the tooling is the same, engineering is the same... C'mon man, common sense.
