Of course you did, you're from canada...they only had to teach you 3 letters to spell your countries name, just like here. USA.

I just heard it a few months ago when I visited my parents in Bellingham, WA. I found it amusing.

2005 Tacoma DC prerunner SR5 had 173,500 miles when I traded it for a 2011 Tacoma DC Sport prerunner. Only problems with my 05: Replaced factory battery at 5 years($120), Universal joint went bad at 110,000 miles ($150), left front wheel bearing at 160,000 miles ($170). Did normal maintenance. Started putting synthetic oil in at 80,000 miles. Towed a bass boat all over the place with it & didn't have the factory towing package.

I would say these aren't junk! Definately got my money's worth out of the 2005. Paid $23,000 for it when I bought it(bank repo 6000 miles on it). Got $8000 when I traded it. Probably could have gotten $10,000 if I sold it myself. But I wanted to keep my wheels for the new truck & didn't want the hassle of buying another set.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
These trucks are solid and reliable, hell I would feel no qualms about starting in Alaska and driving down to the tip of South America in mine, it would do it!

i have had 4 tacomas 96 98 2001 2010 . they are not built anything like they have been in the past . 2010 - bad rear springs , shifts funky , tweeters blown , noise from blower , fail to start (dealer had no idea why) , clutch slips when its cold , belt whines. dealing with dealers (2) has been a hassle. seems they feed bs to people instead of fixing . oh and blown ac pump
