Everyone is different so I can’t tell you how you would like driving the manual compared to other cars/trucks but I enjoy it. I don’t regret not getting an automatic.

Yes, because I had a street class SCCA Miata. Which BTW had a parts bin truck transmission.

It will never drive or shift like that.

Your best guide is a 30 mile round trip test drive in heavy traffic. If you like enough to get one, then do the accumulate delete under the guidance of @tonered

Driving a manual is a pain in the neck. Every manual I ever drove would end up giving me neck pain. For some reason I could never find a comfortable seating position that would allow me to comfortably shift gears

    I don't think I could daily a manual Tacoma.

My last car was a 2014 challenger with a 5.7 hemi and 6 sp mt. THAT was fun as drunken sex! My MT Taco however is not near as fun. More like a feeling of accomplishment that I still drive a manual.....

I love mine. I only picked Toyota so I could have a fully loaded 4x4 truck without buying a Ram 2500 Diesel Tradesman work truck.

Very enjoyable and easy to drive. If you are picky, you are correct in your research, the throws are too long and the clutch engagement needs improvement. Both are remedied easily, I have the URD Short Throw Shifter a new shift knob and a shifter boot retainer for a factory look. I have not done the accumulator delete but it is on my list, the clutch point seems to move around and not be consistent.

FWIW I've driven at least one MT vehicle since 1978 and have had 2 MT in my stable since 2002.

Also, as someone else said today, I can't drive an auto, they are always in the wrong gear, take to long to shift and boar me to death.

well, at least it will always be in the gear that you, the driver put it in.

automatics are for people that fk around with other things while they drive, because they can't drive for sh1t.

My ‘95 f-150 did that too. So low in 1st you could ease off the clutch and it would crawl even uphill. I think ford had a sensor built in that gave it a little throttle though.
