Should I should Replaced them with the Bilstein 5100s? I keep seeing these thrown around on the forums. I'm confused I feel like most 2nd gen taco have these shocks.

I was recommend replacing the shocks while doing add-leaf (which I don't know what to get) I do a lot of camping and I hate the sag when I load up my truck,

I’ve never had OME or 5100s. But I do know you should avoid 4wheelparts and check out headstrong Offroad or wheelersoffroad.com

    Are 4wheelsparts bad news?

I don’t think I’ve ever heard anything good. Also, updated the wheelers link above.

The one you quoted has wheelers.com, should be wheelersoffroad.com

Get Sumosprings to take care of the sag. Easier to install than the addaleaf and a better unloaded ride.

I heard a lot of people upgrade from Sumos to addaleaf. I want to add bags but I want to make a one time purchase!

This is what I purchased for my 18 a few weeks ago from eBay and Toytec. 5100's ride so much better than the original shocks. Mine are set on the highest setting to get the full extent of the lift. It's a little stiffer but much less body roll and it just soaks up the bumps much better. I also added the AAL and u bolts from toytec. Took about a day to get it all done in my garage with a friend of mine. So in all, you can get a fully upgraded suspension for around $500 that looks good and performs quite well. IMG_20190707_205054_938.jpg Screenshot_20190724-225048_Photos.jpg

    Yes, 4wheelparts are idiots.

3rd gen Tacos are different from 2nd gen tacos. The front end alone weighs 300lbs more so the shock coils and valving are different

Well to be honest I don't know the exact increase in payload. However between the AAL and longer shock the sag would be minimal. I've not loaded mine down yet but the lift in general has got to account for something. Someone else may be able to chime in on the payload numbers.

I love the suspension on my off road. I have sumos for the weight or you could do an add aleaf 5100 aren't going to do anything for the sag
