I was at the Toyota dealer today looking at 2012's, and noticed that on two older used models, their steps were different heights.

Is this because the Toyota nerf bars/tube steps are adjustable? I am interested in finding a pair that sits close to the body.

    Anybody have insight on this?

The truck on the right had the steps way closer than the truck on the left. The truck on the left you could actually fit your foot in between the step and the truck, the other truck you could not.

You can't really tell in this picture but there is a difference.

I dont see why you couldn't re-drill or slot them.
