I'm installing a Pioneer AVIC-X910BT head unit in my 2010 Tacoma DC. I'm adding a Pioneer satellite receiver as part of the system. I'm trying to figure out the best location for the receiver unit.

I know the OEM receiver is mounted behind the rear passenger seat, and I guess that is an option in this case as well. I also looked for some space under the console or behind the kick panels, but I don't think the receiver will fit there (although I saw in another post that someone mentioned that he was able to mount a receiver behind a kick panel).

I suppose it would fit under one of the front seats, so I've given that some thought too.

Do any of you experienced folks have a suggestion on the best location for a satellite receiver other than behind the rear passenger seat?

    Thanks in advance.

I installed mine on the pass side, up by the glove box, there is a ton of room there, kind of under the stereo to the right

OK, thanks. I'll take a look at that spot and see if it will fit.
