I am planning to install OME Dakar springs and OME shocks in the rear of my Tacoma and am trying to figure out whether or not I will need to buy new shackles to get full 3" of lift or if the ones I currently have will work.

Current shackles shown in the picture are what was installed by the previous owner and are giving 3" of lift currently but they look like they may be adjustable to give less lift? If they are it looks like the upper setting would give something around 1 1/2" of lift which is about what I'm looking for to go with the Dakar springs.

From the center of the top bolt to the center of the lowest bolt is 6 3/4" and to the middle bolt it's 4 1/2".

P.S. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section this is my first post here.

That’s exactly what those are. I personally am not a fan of the extended length shackle especially the version on your truck. Looks like it’s two side s and just bolts that hold them together. The higher quality one will be one piece shackle. But yes an adjustable shackle to answer the question.

Thanks for the info gotoman. I guess I'll find out if they work or not when the parts arrive and if they do I'll try and see if I can figure out a spot to weld a support in to strengthen them up a bit.
